Wilfred lives in Charlottetown PEI with his wife Anita. Wilfred graduated from Automotive Technology with honors in his younger years and has pursued a continuing interest in automobiles ever since.

Wilfred retired from his position as IT Site Manager at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Crops and Livestock Research Centre.

Wilfred is a Life Member of The Prince Edward Island Antique Car Club (PEIACC) for which he has served as President, Secretary and Car Show Chairman. He was Editor/Publisher of the PEIACC Newsletter (The Dipstick) and Editor of the NAACC Newsletter (Cruisin’ Canada). Wilfred has been on the PEIACC Clubs car show committee for the over 32 years. He has been the recipient of the President Appreciation Award ,Tireless Worker Award and the Chesapeake Trophy (for best Club participation for the year) as well as many 1st place awards for his 1929 Model A Ford Cabriolet and many awards for his 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 Conv. He has judged at many significant shows over the years including Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Wilfred is the PEI Director and former VP for NAACC and the original Webmaster for NAACC created in 2000. He was presented with the NAACC Chuck Forster Award in 2022.

One of the many projects Wilfred has worked on with a fellow PEIACC club member and NAACC Director Rudy Croken is to recognize the first car owned and imported into Canada. This was the Ware Steam Carriage built in Bayonne, New Jersey by Elijah Ware and imported in Dec 1866 by Father Georges Antoine Belcourt of Rustico, P.E.I.

Wilfred grew up with a 36 car collection his Dad; Keith (Former NAACC President) began in 1960. It included his first Antique vehicle which is a rare Early 1928 Ford Model A. Wilfred completed the restoration of this Early A to original in 2022 and was presented the Best restored vehicle in PEIACC for 2022.
