PROCLAMATION
Automotive Heritage Month
July 2021

WHEREAS the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada has designated July 2021 as “Automotive Heritage Month” in recognition of the contributions of automotive hobbyists to the economic and cultural life of Canada;

AND WHEREAS the NAACC will be celebrating “Collector Car Appreciation Day” on July 9, 2021;

AND WHEREAS Newfoundland and Labrador recognizes the role of the automobile in the creation of the provincial highway system and road network that make Newfoundland and Labrador communities more accessible for residents and visitors;

AND WHEREAS Newfoundland and Labrador has many active local clubs dedicated to automotive hobbies and also welcomes many visiting automobile enthusiasts;

THEREFORE I, Sarah Stoodley, Minister of Digital Government and Service NL, do hereby proclaim July 2021 as Automotive Heritage Month in Newfoundland and Labrador.
