PROVINCE OF NEW BRUNSWICK

DECLARATION

AUTOMOTIVE HERITAGE MONTH

WHEREAS the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada (NAACC) is promoting the month of July as “Automotive Heritage Month” across Canada;

WHEREAS provincial and local automobile clubs and their members are planning and promoting a wide range of activities and celebrations focused on automotive heritage taking place during the month of July throughout the country;

WHEREAS automotive heritage has broad appeal that embraces both automobile enthusiasts and the general public;

WHEREAS many of the events also raise funds for charitable organizations and general community benefit;

WHEREAS automobile clubs participate in local festivals, parades, and celebrations and add an exciting dimension to public events in communities throughout Canada:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT KNOWN THAT I, John B. Ames, Minister of Tourism, Heritage and Culture, do hereby declare that the month of July 2017 shall be known as

AUTOMOTIVE HERITAGE MONTH

in New Brunswick and do commend its thoughtful observance to all citizens of our province.
