PROCLAMATION
Automotive Heritage Month

WHEREAS the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada has selected July 2017 as “Automotive Heritage Month” to publicly acknowledge the influence automotive hobbyists have on this province; and

WHEREAS Nova Scotia’s history of manufacturing and modernizing automobiles is kept alive by the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada by promoting and encouraging the preservation of automobiles; and

WHEREAS in honor of Canada 150 the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada will host a classic car tour to display Nova Scotia’s rich automotive heritage;

THEREFORE I, Stephen McNeil, Premier of Nova Scotia, do hereby declare the month of July, 2017 to be “Automotive Heritage Month” in the Province of Nova Scotia.
