COLLECTOR CAR APPRECIATION DAY

WHEREAS the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada is promoting July 14, 2017, as “Collector Car Appreciation Day” to be celebrated throughout the Province; and

WHEREAS the gathering of vintage, classic, and special interest vehicles of all years join together to celebrate the history, culture and heritage of the automobile; and

WHEREAS automotive heritage has broad appeal that embraces both the automobile enthusiast and the general public; and

WHEREAS automotive clubs participate in local festivals, parades and celebrations and add an exciting dimension to public events in communities throughout the Province;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT KNOWN THAT I, Cliff Cullen, Minister of Growth, Enterprise and Trade, do hereby proclaim that July 14, 2017, shall be known as

COLLECTOR CAR APPRECIATION DAY

in Manitoba, and do commend the thoughtful observance of these events to all citizens of our province.
