The Trans Am racing class, this year called Group 2 Parnelli Jones Trans Am Trophy, had Trans Am cars from 1966 to 1972. Maybe one of the reasons this class has such a huge following of fans, is because when these cars were new, they were pretty affordable to the average car enthusiast, and they sound so great! These cars are al pretty much 50 to 100 times what they cost new, but they put on a really great show.
