Wilfred lives in Charlottetown with his wife Anita .Wilfred and Anita have two daughters Amber and Celia living in Ontario.

Wilfred has retired from his position as IT Site Manager at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Crops and Livestock Research Centre . Prior to this he was employed with AAFC as a Forage Management Technician and Animal Nutrition Assistant.

 

He is a Life Member of The Prince Edward Island Antique Car Club for which he has served as President , Secretary and Car Show Chairman . He has judged at various car shows including the Cobble Beach Concours D'Elegance. Presently Wilfred is the Editor of the PEIACC Newsletter called the Dipstick as well as part of the car show committee. He has been the recipient of a President appreciation award and Tireless worker award as well as 1st,2nd and 3rd place awards for the 1929 Model A Ford Cabriolet .

Presently Wilfred is the PEI Director for NAACC and the original Webmaster for NAACC created in 2000.

 

He has always been interested in cars starting with a collection his Dad ; Keith (Former NAACC President ) began in 1960 with a 1928 Ford Model A “AR”. Wilfred has three vehicles left from the collection of 36 vehicles including the1928 Ford Model A AR (Early ‘A’) ,1916 Ford Model T,1929 Ford Model A Cabriolet and has purchased a 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible from California in 2004.The Cougar has since won the ladies choice and other awards at the Clubs Annual Car Rally/Lobster Picnic event . He carries out some light maintenance on them and is presently restoring the 1928 Model A.....and as they say 'with a little help from my friends' !

 

Wilfred believes in the need for NAACC so they can be on the lookout for National issues which could hinder the hobby from growing or existing .
