Dear Mr. Docherty;

 

For the last four years your office has been kind enough to support this Canada wide initiative and grant our request for a Certificate of Recognition designating the month of July as Automotive Heritage Month in Saskatchewan. Every year we see an increased number of events during the course of the month as more and more clubs learn of the designation.

 

As we see the interest of car clubs and communities increasing, we see this program growing each year, and would ask that you consider designating July 2016 "Automotive Heritage Month" once again, and in this way, recognize the direct financial and cultural benefits that automotive hobbyists bring to Canada through generated business, employment, shows for senior citizens and works of charity.  It is hoped that these benefits will continue to grow annually as more and more Canadians become socially involved and embrace many areas of the automobile hobby.  Our goal is to coordinate a variety of events and displays that will highlight July as Automotive Heritage Month across Canada. Through the hard work of our volunteer directors, July 2016 will be recognized in seven provinces.

 

 

The National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada Corp is a federally incorporated ‘not for profit’ group dedicated to the collector car community. We are the largest organization of our type in North America, and work directly with provincial organizations through our directors.
